The Art of Selling Selling

Inspired by Twitter, although I am not being as cynical as you might think.

The top internet marketers sell you the method for selling a method to someone else.

Find an empty space and invite lots of people to it, tell them many more will come soon, as the room fills up people get off on the buzz of being part of the buzz. As a mystic I recognize that although hot air is being sold, the sum total is more than the parts, for it creates community, relationship, entertainment and purpose.

Banking is not so far removed from this. Banking creates and owns value, makes money from thin air and charges people to use it. However what is gained is a social structure, a service (I suggest it is vastly overpriced), its not that money is real, it’s a thought form, an idea that is agreed upon to be accepted of as real.


The human species is gradually waking up to its virtual existence as consciousness creating enduring holograms for consciousness to meet itself and see itself.

The world is a co-created inadvertently agreed upon hologram.

The Eclipse Effect

Eclipses occur at the moon’s nodes. The moon’s nodes show up in your astrological chart and are the indicators of your soul’s journey through different lifetimes. The life purpose and your destiny are described by the moon’s north node (also known as the Dragon’s Head).

The south node (Dragon’s Tail) corresponds to past life emphasis and also the entry of your soul into the foetus. The nodes are astronomical points where the moon’s orbit intersects the Earth’s orbit.

In general terms, the nodal axis (from Dragon’s Tail to Dragon’s Head) can also be said to be the soul’s intention for this life and is a magnetic attractor of circumstances and pivotal people.

The nodes are gateways at the edge of the Earth’s aura on the moon’s orbital path and quite literally are dimensional doorways into the Earth’s astral planes, the ocean of the collective consciousness.

The entire ocean of collective consciousness within the being of Earth is strongly affected by eclipses—this includes all the kingdoms; the totality of Earth, human, animal, vegetable and mineral.

An Overview of my Work

What is my work about?

In case you are wondering what is the summation and the singular message of what I write about here is a brief overview.

The solar system as a holographic reality tells us that the planets are the manifestation of the Suns energy field or aura. The Solar system is the Suns energy field. On a holographic level, the Suns energy field (the solar system with all the planets) has a fractal relationship with the Earths energy field and the human energy field.

As a new planet is discovered it represents a new level of consciousness in the Earths energy field and the human energy field.
The findings of psychology and sociology reveal that new levels of consciousness emerge as we evolve. The timing of the emergence of these levels of consciousness corresponds with the discovery of new planets.

My Astrological research reveals that the discovery of new planets, their orbital position and their orbital nature do indeed correspond to the findings of the academic research on developmental evolution in society and the individual. However the astronomical discoveries and positioning of the planets in the Solar system reveals a story of human evolution that goes beyond the findings of academia.

How can this be so?
Because the conventional academic research is not able to see the subtleties of reality that exist beyond the parameters of psychology, because human nature is not fundamentally psychological but it is based on consciousness. Psychology defines the mechanics within the energy field, it reveals the content as viewed from within but it does reveal the context and fundamental substance of evolution-which is the development of consciousness.

The picture of the Solar system that has been revolutionized since 1992 suggests extraordinary new levels of reality and an extraordinary new story of human evolution.

My work called The Enchantments of Life which is based on the reality of the human energy field and the relationship I have experienced between the individual Human, the Earth and the Sun represents a new paradigm of perception in regards to the nature of our reality. My work integrates the nature of the energy fields, astrology and the more legitimate developmental studies. The progressive academic field of the Integral movement is seeking legitimacy so as to be accepted by conventional theorists.
The integral movement is potentially very important, as it is laying the philosophic ground for the next stage of civilization. The integral studies of reality are largely unnoticed by mainstream academia or alternative new age thinkers. Integral understanding is growing outside of the populist circles because it is the most persuasive and encompassing worldview ever seen by humanity. My work adds to that movement and integrates an innovative understanding of astrology based on the holographic nature of reality. The map shows the relevance of conventional behaviour and thinking whilst accommodating the phasmagoric. The paradoxical viewpoints of all paradigms, be that fringe or consensually acceptable views all interlock and each serve specific purposes in the whole system of Planet Earth.

The best analogy of reality that we have at the moment is the holographic paradigm which changes the focus away from the minutiae of quantum mechanics towards seeing whole systems and recognizing the inherent yet complex intelligence of creation.



Agreements Change Over Time

The summary is that reality is not legitimate; it is wildly creative and constructed upon Earth by collective agreements.

I am continuously learning about how individual purpose fits so perfectly into collective evolution through my clients and their everyday challenges and dreams.
All human perception is valid in the melting pot of global reality, what emerges from that totality of human consciousness is the democratically created kaleidoscopic diversity of reality on Earth.


Therefore my work defines reality to something incredibly profound. Profound because it conforms to the general perspective of evolution as well as recognizing that all manner of bizarre and exotic phenomenon— that people are always reporting—do indeed belong to a more inclusive view of reality. The phenomenon I mean include such mind bending and tricky topics as UFOs, ETs, Atlantis and advanced prehistoric civilizations. All of which are part of an evolving carnival that we call creation.

The evolutionary process is non linear, as in we temporarily put aside or suppress certain consciousness for sake of an overall progress. Atlantis was real and advanced in earth based occult technologies that we can not presently access. The planet and humanity needed to close down that access so that we could create the society we have today. My map reveals why that had to happen and why now we are on the threshold of reopening that door.

The Wealth of California Sunshine

California is on my mind today, my good friend Scott is visiting me here on Lamma Island and he’s from Carlsbad CA. In my inbox this morning I get this email from Peter Ragnor

And our credit is dried up," he told a joint session of the California legislature’’

California came into being as a state as a direct result of the 1849 Gold rush which corresponded astrologically with Neptune’s discovery in 1846. Neptune rules non linear abundance, as in money from nowhere. Neptune has just completed its first orbit, completing a cycle.
California is still there and it is a very special place on Earth, apart from Hollywood the worlds biggest myths making industry, the climate and soil yields an abundance of natures harvest from fruits to Wine. The state really is a golden place, Mount Shasta, San Francisco, Death Valley, Sequoia state park its like heaven on Earth in many ways, I loved it there last year and found the people in Carlsbad to be open and interesting.

But anyway, I digress how real is money?

What is money?

Money is an agreement, a thought form. No more than 4% of the money in the world exists as paper or coins the rest is stored digitally. Money is a numerical abstraction held as real through collective emotion and agreement.

Money though is still so real to us all which just goes to show how the world is constructed from metaphysics. Thought forms are tangible substances, money exists as field of energy.

The day is gloriously sunny I have just got back from the beach and I am feeling kinda dreamy…

I was just wondering if it’s possible at this time as a society or as individuals that we can make a radical new contract with money?

It sure would be nice to magic some money out of the thick air….hmmm, is that possible without incurring bad karma?

Magical is not Fluffy

The reflection of the creator is the cosmic void. The cosmic void is the veil of mystery that hides the creator from our absolute and direct knowledge of him, her and it. What arises in the brilliant light of the cosmic void?

• Love, which is the cohesive urge, Love allows life to bond on every scale of creation.

• The creative conflict of opposites that yeild destruction of old forms so as to allow yet more creativity. This conflict creates death, the destruction of form which allows for the transformation of life.

• Magic which is the inherent energy giving life animate being and like love reflects the ultimate mysterious nature of the creator.

Magic is often portrayed as something warm, cozy and fluffy, like love which is often only seen to be true if it is sweet and sentimental.

However magic is an underlying awesome effervescence of life which is both a beauty beyond description and yet can be terrifying in its vastness. I have learnt from the experiences of shamanic rituals involving psychotropics that life is inherently magical, ultimately benevolent but far from sentimental.

The reason for stating this is that I realize that many people think it is wishful thinking to believe in magic, life after death, a Supreme Being or Love as the ultimate divine axiom. The facts of existence do not make for comfort, they do not send you to sleep wrapped up in the softness of a logical order but shake you awake in a state of open mouthed awe.

The totality of this existence is benevolent, our life is a joy but the journey would not be an adventure if it were not a tad dramatic. The magical dimension of life is the sparkling and rapid vibratory cascade of creation.

How can we find comfort in a magical existence?

I suggest we grow comfortable in the magical realms through spontaneously letting go to the instantaneous manifestation that arises before us. I can only hope that life graces me and you with such an ability.

Are You Serious?

The internet is increasing the environment of relativity. Any subject you care to mention will have a mass of convincing data eloquently told that will convince you its true, and vice versa, the same subject will have brilliant stories that will convince you that the same subject is balderdash and poppycock… it all made up.

Reality is Made Up.

Is everything an illusion?

No it’s all true, true for now and true to a lesser or greater degree. Illusion is the belief in permanence. Every one takes some things serious, life can be serious, just not for ever. Some things are more enduring whilst other realities are more transient.

Be Entertained, be Very Entertained

So as the world gets more and more relatively true, we have to learn to navigate impermanence and respect other people’s theatres. Obviously this is tricky, but this is where humanity grows in learning to love the crazy world.

Life does have Purpose, Lessons and Direction.

There is a progression of truth, there is a hierarchy of truth but even that is negotiable.
The progression of truth is based on an expansion of the membership of the community that believes in it.

The Wisdom of the Crowd, the Stupidity of the Mob.

Science is the truth of the winners, Humanitarianism is a bigger truth that accommodates and includes more people. The whole human species and its complex multi-tiered paradoxical nature yields a larger truth and accommodates and includes all people.

Here Comes Everyone

The truest thing for the whole human species is the aggregate truth of all 6.7 billion people.

However not everyone has an equal vote, expertise in understanding the consciousness of the species yields extra voting power, but everyone’s truth is contributing to the melting pot of Human species truth.

We are not evolved enough yet to create the reality based on the total human species truth (Yellow Pluto Enchantment) because power is not yet centred at the universal level of humanity, but it is moving that way. This progression of truth is the evolution of consciousness.

Reality is made up by everyone it’s an unconscious democratic process, but as a species we are getting more conscious of this creative negotiation.

The Perfection of the Freaky Guru

Gurus are useful for some people for some period of time. Gurus can never be perfect; they just provide a temporary structure, a complex teaching that serves someone for an indeterminable time. Once that structure is no longer serving the person the Gurus wacky shadow appears.

Tantric Sex Guru
I had a guru once, it lasted about three months, it was Barry Long. I found he penetrated my soul and consumed my mind, it was great and I don't regret it.
An evolved Guru knows they are just playing a role and do not take themselves seriously and are happy to let their followers go once the person has passed through whatever initiation that person required.

Crazy Wisdom
My favourite Guru is Osho—the one who did the Rolls Royce parades—there’s a dude who knew how to laugh. I don't personally need to follow him though.


A Guru is a divine actor but many gurus get trapped by their follower’s projections.

Ultimate truth is ineffable, beyond definition, but this is not something we can live by if we are to live in the Earth. We chose an appropriate truth for ourselves to create a structure that supports us for now. All teachings, all wisdom, all philosophy or sciences are useful. As we evolve, the framework we adhere to expands to encompass more truth. Not all truths are equal; they are relative to the life chapter we are living in.
To live by relativity only, eventually leads to inertia and nihilism in a flatland, where everything means nothing.

To engage with life is to choose, whatever we focus upon grows and becomes our reality. The context of our reality we have created is then substantiated with content that proves and perpetuates the structure we live in. The sphere we live in is filled with content that cross references and interlinks all our perceptions. We literally create a wall of thought around us that maintains our life until it needs to fall apart. The challenge is then to wake up to the truth that the life we had was temporary and that now we are to create a new expanded theatre and re-enchant our life.

The Age of Creativity

A lot of Energy is being Invested in Imaginative Play.
With 6,205,507 people in WOW (that is 0.1 percent of the world, about the same population as Hong Kong) yes 6 million players taking part in the online game The World of Warcraft, I think the world is on the verge of truly harnessing its imagination.

Everyone holds a vision of the future. Your inner vision powerfully shapes your reality and experience.
The world is created in the imagination before it is manifest; this is true for all inventions, all social systems, all businesses and all individual lives.
Your life is being created by you on various layers of your psyche, each of which holds a future. Working with clients I realize that most people are really surprised by the mythology they hold, the versions of the past and the future vision that they are carrying around in their subconscious.

The reality of the world we live in is the net result of our whole species imagination. Our world in general is unaware of the creative power of the imagination of individuals and cultures.

Your imagination is constantly engaging with other people’s imaginings and visions. We do not live in isolation, so your lover and those close to you feed you their future sometimes directly, often subliminally. Society is always feeding us futures and therefore the history that goes with them.

You are Holding a Future in your Psyche

We hold futures in our subconscious that are magnetically attracting people and circumstances. Any future we hold is a timeline, so it is has a history, a vision of the past that supports it—this is the reason why a new look at the ancient world is essential to our society. We can not imagine beyond the limits of the present mythology our version of history creates. What’s true for the species is true for you, your past unexamined, conditions you’re present. It is empowering to see your life as a story and to see the purpose and direction of it. The Life Purpose is a script that allows for creative interpretation rather than a tightly defined fate.


The imagination has been undermined in education, not acknowledging that the way reality comes into being is directly linked to the creative imagination. I like Michael Cremo’s take on the Hindu scripts that suggest that the company of gods, the Devic kingdom all use sex magik and intention to manifest the different realms of reality. This is not so bonkers if you examine the archaeological records, evolution seems to evolve through quantum shifts, and some sort of creation is working alongside the evolutionary intelligence of adaptation.

The ethics and beliefs, expectations and vision of a person or a society is based upon its myth, the history it holds, which then in turn generates its future vision, which in turn manifests.

The Shift of the World

In real terms the shift or change in reality being attempted in the world at the moment has more to do with vision and imagination than science or proof.

The visions of science can be exciting but the evolutionary impulse of our species is attempting to shift context and create more of a soul based vision for the world. The social dialectic, the big debate that creates the world to come is taking place in the hearts and imagination of all people. An advanced society would harness the enormous diversity of its people and their talents; this means more music, art, dance and play. I am not talking complete anarchy or total indulgence but the world today is in a relative straight jacket when compared to the creative potential of human beings.

Futurism

Futurism is an important element of society because it shapes the collective imagination. Most futurists have developmental timelines that use metaphors and analogies that are based on sensible material realities, for example some people use ‘product’ as a measurement of evolution, ‘tools’ are often used and nowadays information is used as the metaphor. These are all good exercises; however the language used limits the vision to a context that negates consciousness as the prime creator of reality. Consciousness should not be confused with ever-so-holiness. Look at the natural world, insects, birds, trees, plants, rocks, crystals, planets and stars it’s a celebratory carnival brought into being by creative consciousness.

They Are Making it up Scientifically

Computer simulations of evolution are being employed (for example, the Santa Fe institute), to show that life can arise through pure accidental randomness. In so doing they are forgetting that the computer and the software are all created by conscious beings and that the scientist is involved with the results directly through observation and intention. This scientific paradigm that is now gradually eroding is based on the idea that life exists in a separation from all other life.

We All Make It Up


The most valid visions of the future use consciousness as their foundation. From a platform of consciousness we see an interconnected universe and the wonderful toys and tools we have stay as tools that serve us and increase our enjoyment of life, rather than enslaving us. The interconnected truth of life means that our imagination is a substance, a field of energy that permeates physical reality. Our society will only understand this if we shift from particle physics to more sophisticated field theories and systems theories that include the participatory role of the human observer. This shift would also mean in time that we would move from a mechanical work and production ethic towards a more leisure based creativity ethic, where vocation would replace work.

We Are Shifting from Hard Science to a More Feeling Society.

The futurist visions we get in our media like those of Wired magazine, (I enjoy them, but they are incomplete visions) believe ethics can control technology without resorting to any form of spirituality. If we were limited to a techno future then the inevitable conclusion would be an enslaved race. I have spent years looking at this; the popular futurists all subscribe mostly unconsciously, to a master context based on neo Darwinism, a survival of the fittest paradigm. They innocently do not see enslavement, they often see a more egalitarian future, but if we stay in the context of old paradigm science and use science as our master metaphor we are signing up for the dystopian vision. Dystopia is a potential that humanity holds quite strongly especially in game culture. Science fiction constantly portrays human beings at war with machines.
The dystopian vision is a reminder from us to us, to be more conscious that we are fundamentally consciousness.
If we keep science and technology as our master metaphor for evolution then we literally make it our master. We would become slaves of robots, slave to the machine.

It’s Okay as Long as we Reinforce that which is Positively Happening

I do not think this will happen because of the evolution of consciousness; enough people in the world are waking up to the soul to create a different paradigm of evolution.

A society that bases itself on consciousness recognizes that technology is a product of consciousness. As we recognize the conscious universe, we see that evolution is encoded into life which in turn reinforces the change from a mechanistic culture to a consciously creative culture which still enjoys technology. Life has an inherent purpose, part of which is to evolve and we are now living in the epoch of change. Evolution at this point is not more of the same but something very different.

Back to You

You can empower the shift of reality and bring more of what you love into your life by valuing your imagination. Your imagination is a powerful creative tool.

What if you can not feel light in your future?

If you hold a vision of the world based on conventional history and evolution, consider expanding your vision by re-examining the story of the human species, this will expand your sense of the collective potentials.

In turn this will increase your engagement with the process that you are now living in and taking part in.

You are a Co-Creator.

Nurturing vision

Whether I am working with an individual or writing about human evolution I am exploring the parameters and potential of the future. The point is not to predict exact outcomes, the point is to engage creative imagination benevolently and consciously and to expand and open the psyche. The opening of the psyche means to trust in life itself.

I have been dealing with peoples futures for 18 years and have learnt to see how we create our lives. Because of the variables involved it is impossible to predict or control exact outcomes. We are not here to control all of the outcomes and details of our lives; we are here to send prayer.
Prayer is celebration and the playful reverence that puts us in the space of gratitude, rather than a demand. Prayer is creativity with grace.

Pension Plan

There is real value in utilizing some time and investing some of your energy in your real pension, the future you hold.

The total energy of our vision eludes our mind we can not always see the shadow. However the qualitative nature of the energy we have invested in our futures comes to be our reality, so it is sensible to keep on reloading our dreams. The value in consciously seeing what futures you are already holding is that you can shape your inner world and direct yourself automatically. Yes we need some discipline, yes we need some simplicity, but we can not afford to hold a future based on the present dominant paradigm.
Daring to keep dreaming keeps the horizon open, I know we some limits don’t get me wrong but the time is right to vision beyond crisis, if economics does not work if the planets ecology looks dodgy we need to harness our creative power and truly look outside the box that has served us up to now.

I say this with gratitude for the wonderful world as it is and yet it’s important to grow in faith if we are to navigate the acceleration of change on Earth. So be it with grace, may the divine decree it…

So what is the point of exploring such big picture scenarios?

Your life is partly existential; it’s simple and mundane in its everydayness.
Yet within it there is a larger picture, a purpose and direction
That direction is the direction of all life; call it the adventure of consciousness.

Your purpose?
One aspect is to evolve, learn and accomplish based on your pre life intention.
One aspect is to enjoy and feel connected to the elements in your life as they are, relating to lover, family, friends and the general social context
One aspect is to feel connected to that which is far bigger than you and I

…that means to feel connected to the largest possible reality and the evolution of consciousness which means involution.
Involution is the increasing involvement of what we can loosely call spiritual reality within the world as it is.

Spirituality has traditionally been, since around 500BCE, more about transcending this world and this life and that is still a valid option for some people, who follow a meditative path…
…however most people are being pushed to seek the ‘spirit’ of the world in the world.

We live in an interconnected and global reality, that interconnection and globalization process which is happening all around us is the gradual awakening of the immanent consciousness
Immanence means the inherent intelligence, the inherent spirit within all things, all people, all of reality.

My work is facilitating that awakening

The earth is waking up to itself and we are being called to wake up to that awakening and be part of its creation, by the power of reinforcement
As you become more conscious of the immanent purpose, consciousness and creative impulse in the life we live within, you reinforce the agenda of the immanent awakening.

Connecting to this immanent awakening will gradually increase your sense of the magical aspect of life, the vast intelligence that is life and by connecting to the awesome mystery that reveals itself to us a little bit at a time increases your subconscious sense of awe and gratitude thereby enlivening your everyday existential reality.

Time Decays Over Time

Just over decade ago, I tuned into the spirit of Nikola Tesla and received the message: 'Time decays over time.'

If you look to the future, you are aware that the future holds multiple potentials that spring from the present circumstances.

What happens in Time is subject to free will.

What is true of the future is true of the past.

To create a new future on planet Earth we must create a new past. The story we hold of human nature, evolution and cultural development sets very real limits for what we can create. Our reality takes place within the context of our social mythology.

What has happened in the past is not anchored or materialized until we agree to it.

History, like the future, is a negotiable reality.

Time starts to bifurcate quite dramatically at some point before 10,000 BCE into different timelines.

If we investigate Egypt and Sumer with fresh eyes and then look at the evidence of a pre-flood civilization, we will create a larger vision of the past. As we send out an invitation into the past, it will oblige us and new evidence will step forward.

However, I am not merely talking metaphorically or psychologically. Time–space is a 4-dimensional substance constructed from consciousness. History is a sculpture we are collectively moulding with the sum total of all human imagination.

As a species, we must create the past anew if we are to create a fundamentally new future – and therefore reload the present.

I invite you now to boldly go where hardly anyone seems to have gone before.

Time–space and consciousness are the final frontiers.

This is the Enterprise.

Have You Explored the Truth of Ancient Egypt?

The exploratory research of the ancient world is a journey of the mind and imagination which twists and turns to such an extent that at some point you will find yourself back where you started and standing in the swirling mists of time. My feeling from my own journey and other investigators is that this is the point from which some kind of clarity slowly begins to emerge.

I have been to Egypt once in the year 2000 backpacking from Israel, after a couple of nights in Istanbul and Jerusalem, down through Sinai, where I was sleeping on the beach in huts before heading into the carnival of Cairo. Visiting the pyramid sites I was somewhat disappointed to not feel as awed as I had hoped, I did have some psychic impressions and inspirations but not the extent that I was expecting it was an enriching experience none the less. What I loved about the trip was the exotic atmosphere, the back alleys and coffee shops, the smell and dust of a medieval era merging with the modern age. I will go back, next time though I will ‘do it posh’. Egypt seems to be one of those places where you need to go in style in contrast to Mesoamerica that opens its doors on a different frequency.

Countless acquaintances on the other hand have had fabulous psychic flashes, familiar voices, direct gnosis, visions and memories whilst sitting in the Kings Chamber or being around the temples and pyramids.

My past life journeys in the 1990s before my visit yielded extraordinary suggestions about the planets grid stabilizing because of the construction of the main pyramids. This was in order to keep the integrity of our time frame, as in putting a halt to time travel-securing the borders of reality.
A past life sense, a half memory that emerged after my many past life sessions and enquiries was of being a renegade priest wandering the desert as an escapee of the dictatorial Egyptian theocracy, more than one person actually independently verified this back to me.

Why do we need to research the nature of the ancient world, hasn’t Ancient Egypt pretty much been understood?

I will emphatically say that Egypt is an extraordinary unsolved mystery that stands at the doorway to our planets past. The story we have of our past limits our future. The changes in the world today, the technological revolution, ecological issues, economic and social dynamics are completely inter-woven with our social mythology. The bedrock of any society is its mythology, the story it tells itself of itself.
The archaeologist community has furnished us with some truth, the maps of developmental psychologists, expand that picture but the anomalies create a chasm, a chasm that is a portal

I have already written about the Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron conjunction in Aquarius which is effect throughout 2009. This triple conjunction brings together the humanitarian and heart centred impulse of Jupiter and Neptune with the maverick pirate-punk ethos of Chiron. …iconic, controversial, full of humour and ultimately a liberating message, though admittedly not to everyone’s taste as a lot of his messages are quite hard hitting so can be offensive to some. However this new exhibition, from what I can see has a more universal appeal, plenty of humour and less of the darker elements. 2012 The Underlying Message

The simple message of 2012 is the underlying shift towards the Earth waking up to itself. (Turquoise Chiron Enchantment)

The totality of Earth is waking up to itself that includes the integration or inclusion of all paradigms, not just science and religion.

This awakening can be thought of a shamanic consciousness on the next turn of the spiral. Humanity will increasingly start looking out again into the cosmos, Earth is traveling in the cosmos and all of Humanities output is a substance feeding the Earth consciousness.

The fundamental underlying social change is a shift towards recognizing energy and consciousness as more essential than matter and economics, once again experiencing energy and consciousness as substance.

The effects of this underlying planetary impulse are varied, one effect being the subject I mentioned yesterday—the re-evaluation of our ancient history. Ancient artifacts, sacred sites and mythology reveal a profound connection with Earths energy-its geometry, its fractal resonance or holographic relationship with the greater cosmos and the nature of cycles.
This has instant knock on effects to how we frame evolution. Our present potentials are limited by the dominant story or social myth which starts with a filtered perception of our past. Instead of merely focusing on the natural selection, competitive element of evolution, we will and are seeing the cohesive intelligence of life.

I doubt whether we will all wake up in 2013 in a state of blissed out recognition, however a shift is occurring now which ties in with the 2012 end date which is creating a cascade of subconscious awareness towards having a bigger vision of life.

Atlantis

A simple overview of the paradox of ancient wisdom and the progress of today.

Atlantis existed and was finally destroyed along with the Saber Tooth Tiger and the Mammoth about 12,000 BCE in a global cataclysm; the physical evidence matches the global mythology. Ancient civilizations had access to knowledge we don’t have today, however we have evolved since then.

The nature of evolution is the move towards greater complexity, an ability to be conscious of more intricacy, more bits and pieces, more layers or more chaotic contents within a whole. Evolution is the maturation of our ability to encompass and own more diversity in our unity; this is the adventure of consciousness.

We evolve as individuals and collectively through stages, but the move from one stage to another involves putting aside some of that which we have gained in the last stage to be picked up again later.

Through examining myth and archaeology many academics have been astounded to find that in the prehistoric world seafaring travel was commonplace, knowledge of how to harness earth energies was available, and a precise map of the stars and precession of the equinox was utilized -- and a lot more besides…

The cataclysms that are documented in all world myth swept many coastal cities under the sea (many have now been found). After this, humankind started again with a dramatic decline of the ancient knowledge whilst a new form of moral and social structure gradually emerged. There was both decay of knowledge and yet growth of human complexity.

In sacred sites we often see that there are layers of construction, the earlier ones are more sophisticated than the newer ones.

The Atlanteans, we are told, were arrogant and this was their downfall. I have been on past life journeys, talked to people who have memories of Atlantis and have read numerous books; I am convinced an incredible civilization existed before a global cataclysm of 13,000 to 11,500 BCE and that the story of Atlantis in general terms is true.

The many books that are written on Atlantis vary in quality. However the best ones are written by people who invariably spend 20 or 30 years (or more) exploring the world's ancient sites before making their pronouncements. Most often these authors are intellectually brilliant and very brave; engineers are frequently involved, because many an engineer is thrown into an utter state of incredulity once they examine ancient sites, as the evidence is completely at odds with the consensual story of history.

The totality of the evidence that I have examined suggests to me that the Atlanteans were less evolved than we are today in terms of complexity. The world was a much simpler place. We now live in a multi-tiered reality of incredible paradox, yet it’s all part of our one-planet experience.

Increasing diversity within unity is the impulse of life.

The point I raise here is a crucial one that I am working on in the development of the Enchantments, which defines how the mysterious process of evolution actually occurs.

Over the last 18 years I have been on a journey of exploring reality. This journey has continued to shake me and wake me. The revelations of Atlantis, on one hand, and the awakening to see, that yes, life has a direction, that it does evolve and we are evolving, on the other hand, have both been very exciting, euphoric and revelatory in their own right. But the recognition of how these disparate factors fit together leaves me with a profound sense of awe.

The Shift of Worldviews

It is time for our society to remember that the experiences of shamanic cultures are truly magical. Anthropologists and Psychologists reduce the shamanic experience and the parallel experiences of childhood to the merely subjective.

The counter reactionary perspective is that we need to return back to the golden age of the past and the spiritual experience of childhood; however this denies progress and evolution. A more refined worldview will accept that as we evolve we set aside and leave behind certain qualities and consciousness that we are now ready to start integrating with our civilized self conscious selves.

The psychological analysis of shamanistic experience is not wrong from within the context of psychology or science, the problem is that the contexts of science and psychology are not large enough to encompass its reality. Yes ancient shamanic cultures are in fact often less evolved from the point of view of civilization, this can be contentious and offensive to some people as it smacks of superiority due to the last few hundred years of racial prejudice that was perpetrated with the license of rationality and evolution.

However this is not where I am coming from, the whole concept of superiority is inappropriate.

The shamanic and the childhood realities takes place simultaneously in the physical world yet mostly in the astral world, the world that interpenetrates this one unseen or as yet unrecognized by the dominant paradigm of mainstream science.

The astral world is sealed off from our experience by the development of the linear mind; this is true in childhood which is why childhood memories are sparse, veiled and interpreted differently from the actual experience. What’s true for childhood development is also true of early shamanic cultures from 40,000 years ago, what the aborigines call the Dreamtime.
The development of the linear mind was and is a necessary stage of evolution that gives rise to civilization and safer society. The linear mind develops hand in hand with the recording of history, writing, written records and linear time.

Before the axial age of 500-600 BCE, reality was different, time was different.

Through Ancient history we see the gradual formation of the individuated consciousness and the gradual closure of access to the astral worlds. What is happening is a two fold process one is evolution on the physical plane, the second is involution, the descension of the innocent soul from its timeless,-spaceless realm into the density of the world we know.

We stand at the doorway now where we are gradually opening our consciousness to integrate that which we have left behind with that which we have gained. The shift of the dominant worldview is an enormous expansion of our reality landscape, for it encompasses magical reality and that which we have gained from evolution.

2012 and the P Word

2012 represents a shift towards Galactic Consciousness. The 2012 end date is the end of a 26,000 year cycle regarding the Earths relationship with the Galaxy. The general meaning of this is an acceleration of human evolution and consciousness. One thing that all worldviews agree on at the moment is that the world is changing and change itself is accelerating.
Looking briefly at the sociological implications we can say that one aspect of this 2012 shift involves the P word. It is useful to understand the P word in the context of the larger mystical reality.

Barack Obama

We are very lucky at the moment to have such an enigmatic, charismatic, audacious and authentic leader in the world in the form of Barack Obama, he is presently involved in huge battles, mostly happening behind closed doors.
World Power is presently centred in Corporate Materialism, I say this without a condemnation or overtly moral stance, as this is just the existential fact of our evolutionary state.

Behind closed Doors?

Government as a theatre is and has to be a reflection of the mass consciousness. Government as a theatre is centred between—on one hand social moral structure, law and order, promoting a safe civilized society with basic amenities for all citizens (blue Saturn Enchantment)—and on the other hand a society shaped by market forces of natural selection through economic competition(Orange Uranus Enchantment). Politics is a theatre that is in the Blue/Orange transitional states. However World power is corporate (Orange Uranus Enchantment) so even though we see Green politics and more sophisticated politicians existing on the world stage the context itself is limited to this Blue/Orange transitional Enchantment.
The Corporate agenda and its strategy are fought through the power of the lobbyists who are very effective agents within the theatre of government. I subscribe to MoveOn an email newsletter put out by a group affiliated with Obama’s administration this gives the low down on the hidden drama.

A word in your ear

Each week MoveOn details the enormous activity that is not reported fully by the mainstream media, involving the vigorous activities of lobbyists on behalf of large corporate concerns, again I say this without attempting to demonize materialism, we all enjoy the benefits, but there is a shadow—it just goes with the territory.

People before Money

The 2012 effect on the power structure of our society comes down to change being attempted by the human species to shift power from material values Orange Uranus Enchantment to humanitarian values Green Neptune Enchantment or a transitional state between the two.

Higher levels of consciousness are existent in the world and emerging, however the consensual ‘real’ world theatre is by necessity at a lower level of consciousness, this is a result of the democratic and aggregate consciousness of the whole human species.


I say this because I feel it is time for spiritually consciousness people to start seeing the whole dynamic system of the human species on all levels of it development, so as to aid in the shift of consciousness associated with 2012.

By studying the Enchantments of Life all theatres of this world become transparently interconnected fields of consciousness. Understanding the Enchantments is not the solution to all of your challenges but it does expand your consciousness to an uncommon level of awareness about the dynamic intelligence of our species.

I notice that the Asia Consciousness Conference has a workshop devoted to Machine consciousness. The futurist movement seriously suggests that machines will one day be self consciousness— I agree but by the time that emerges the definition of life and reality will have changed. The trans-human movement corresponds with what I call the Coral Pholus Enchantment and runs parallel with the development of robots to this extreme level of consciousness

What is Trans-humanism?

The term was first coined by a guy with the snappy little name of FM-2030,—yes that was his name— in 1966 which is of great interest to astrologers as 1966 was the Uranus-Pluto conjunction which was astrologically responsible for the sexual and counter culture revolutions and the seeding of the technological revolution. Trans-humanism is basically us consciously taking over natural selection by deliberately utilizing robotics, genetics and nano technology to improve the human body.

Now this gives most of us the hee-bee-gee-bees understandably however far off in the future some form of it will manifest.
BUT
Before that can happen other levels of reality must emerge, which will change how we see it and how it manifests.

Is it time to buy Gold?

Today is the conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron, which means as we look out from here-Earth- into the plasma entity that surrounds us-which we call the Solar system we see the three planets sharing the same co-ordinate of the Zodiac, the 27th degree of Aquarius.
As I mentioned before this triple conjunction occurs at the same time as Neptune has completed its first orbit of the Solar system since we discovered it. Astrology works on the principles of as above and so below so what we perceive from Earths position reflects back us the quality of the moment we find ourselves in. Neptune was discovered in 1846 that was the era that the consciousness of Neptune awoke in the human species. One element of Neptune is non linear abundance (affluence which means in the flow) the natural flow of energy from the universe that increases energy from nowhere or nothing as we open up to a new level of abundance, accessible through a higher system of energy.

On 24th January 1848 gold was discovered at a mill—think River, think flow.
In 1848-9 the California Gold rush began increasing the population of the state from 14,000 to 100,000 people who came from all over the world in just over a year, then a further 100,000 people the following year, by 1850 California became accepted as a state.
Now, after the Gold was discovered we could say that the Gold existed already on Earth, but it was hidden until that point. Neptune is the ocean and infinite supply of energy that can flows into a system once it is unlocked and opens up to a new higher level of energy and consciousness, Neptune’s discovery corresponded with a whole new level of reality, the planet was already there of course but we had not discovered it, the collective perception in other words expanded to see more.
Today synchronically I received an email from Peter Ragnor suggesting that the only insurance against a global depression is to buy Gold.

Maybe that’s true I understand the logic of the Gold reserve behind banking, but maybe this time is about opening to a new level of inherent abundance, something beyond the economy?

The universe is inherently abundant to a degree beyond our imagination...what abundance awaits us?

The Astro Data
The planets Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron form a conjunction, in Aquarius, on 28 May 2009 (exact conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune, Chiron within a few minutes); then again on 10 July and 21 December 2009. This event also coincides with the completion of Neptune’s first orbit since its discovery in 1846.

So what is this energy? Let’s first look at the components which are effectively dancing around each other throughout 2009.

Neptune in Aquarius
Here are some buzz terms for Neptune in Aquarius: Group bonding on different scales, ideology, humanitarianism, idealism, dissolution of boundaries, illusion, love is in the air, spiritualizing, equalizing, new age, group soul, merging of ideas.

Adding Jupiter into the Mix
Jupiter is the planet of expansion, enquiry, adventuring, questing, searching, optimism and abundance. President Barack Obama has Jupiter in Aquarius; so do I, by the way.

Jupiter in Aquarius can be bombastically positive (who me?), espousing a new forward-looking idealism that can incorporate techno-futurism.

The energy of the Jupiter–Neptune conjunction really highlights the progressive nature of Aquarius—the visionary and the Utopian.

The downside of the Jupiter–Neptune conjunction is its transient dreaminess; the deceptive nature of dreams as they fail to fully deliver. However, dreaming lead us beyond where we were, even if its promise is an exaggeration. The truly negative approach to this energy, though, is to play safe, to stay cynical and closed—and then wait to sneer—thereby missing the experience, nourishment and euphoric celebration that enriches and nourishes soulfulness, consciousness, faith, love and compassion.

All sorts of emotions and ideals sweep through a community and through the planet, so we have to ride the waves with some discernment. But hey, don’t get out of the water—that would be like being around in the mid-1960s and missing the party, man!

Now Let’s Add Chiron to the Mix
What really amps up the energy is Chiron’s presence.

Chiron is the integrator—the great attractor that pulls everything together; analogous to the new consciousness of our whole planet waking up to itself as an entity travelling through space (Turquoise Chiron Enchantment). Chiron is the interconnection between all things, and yet is also the crack between those things that lets in the light and keeps the whole system growing, flowing and connecting beyond itself. It is Earth connecting to an ET community.

On a more immediate level, and more pertinent to us now, Chiron creates interconnection within the whole, within society and between different paradigms, mindsets and cultures. Chiron, a planetary body discovered in 1977, rules what Matt Mason, author of The Pirate’s Dilemma, calls ‘the remix’ (the year 1977 saw the birth of punk rock and the growth of hip hop culture).

Chiron also rules the reclaiming of that which has been left behind or disavowed from each of us or from society. Chiron is the maverick and the forgotten, the creatively discordant, the anarchic liberator. Chiron rules ‘the intersection’, as it is termed in The Medici Effect (Frans Johansson). The surfboard–skateboard fusion culture also springs from around 1977 (see the documentary Dogtown & Z-Boys. This film is so punk, so much fun; it must be one of the best documentaries ever. Now here’s a quote from the film, from surf shop owner Craig Stecyk in 1975, which speaks directly to a Reality Activist: “Two hundred years of American technology has unwittingly created a massive cement playground of unlimited potential. But it was the mind of 11-year olds that could see that potential.”

Chiron, in the mix of the triple conjunction, also speaks of creating a rainbow bridge between the 20th-century ‘real world’, ruled by economics, politics and mainstream-media-mythology-led market forces and the 21st-century online cyber-culture community.


Putting It All Together
So on one hand, we could have a strengthening of online interconnection; on the other hand, it may be dislocated and alienated from the ‘real world’. However, the dominant impulse of this triple conjunction is an awakening of human interconnected energy fields, including a greater occurrence of intersubjectivity, heart-based rapture or telepathy, intoxicating viral marketing, free open source memes, collective emotions and the odd alien-based religious cult.

The triple conjunction—which is the beginning of a cyclical unfolding over the next 13 to 25 years—also encourages a surging of interfaith religion towards a global spiritual platform, ultimately by around 2025. It further suggests a convergence of hope and vision from multiple paradigms under a spiritual umbrella that creates a Utopian drive in humanity. This could bring futuristic technological aspiration and global communication under the domain of a nonsectarian spirituality.

The challenge—or the way the energy is seeking to unfold, with our help and conscious reinforcement—is to go beyond the real world as it stands and to create heavenly firmaments and filaments, gold, pearls, radiance and a lustre of collective abundance, joy, fun, humour and even some outrageous intoxicating promise … and then see if this can be woven back into the real world, so that as much of the treasure as possible benevolently enriches and mutates the system.

With the energy of this conjunction, any safe-bet over-pragmatism is a guaranteed losing hand; whereas the winning hand will have a straight flush of zany exploration.

Humanity needs vision. Humanity needs Utopian vistas so that the adventure continues…


Astro-nerdia for the discerning analyst who wants to follow the energy wave that we are surfing: The Triple Conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron

Neptune was discovered on 24 September 1846, at just under 26 degrees of Aquarius (it was conjunct Saturn at the time).

Neptune returned to the same point in the Zodiac—which means it has completed its first orbit since discovery—in early April 2009 and it will do a final pass over the same degree in February 2010 (it got to 24 degrees of Aquarius in May 2008, before retrograding, so we saw the early vibrations coming in then).

Jupiter passes over this same point in the Zodiac (just under 26 degrees Aquarius) on 19 May 2009, with a final pass on 29 December 2009.

Chiron moves around this Neptune discovery point during most of May 2009 and makes its final pass over this same point in December 2010.

Jupiter and Neptune move into an exact conjunction—in other words, share exactly the same placement—on 28 May 2009, after which there is a retrograde conjunction, on 10 July 2009, and then a final direct-motion meeting on the Winter Solstice, 21 December 2009, exactly three years before ‘the end of time’ in the Mayan calendar.

Chiron will come very close to Jupiter and Neptune during all three conjunctions, effectively creating the triple conjunction.

In astrological terms, the ‘triple conjunction’ means that Jupiter and Neptune will conjunct three times in one year; however, this triple conjunction is a triple conjunction of planets as well.

We live in the Earth not on it
The body is in the soul rather than the soul is in the body
Our body is within our consciousness
Our brain and its chemistry are in our consciousness.
Our movements and our physical experience take place within consciousness
To know the truth of reality on any scale of existence we must see the whole before the parts.
The whole of something is reflected in its energy field
It is the energy between our hands that can give us access to all energy fields.

All of this is true from a slowly emerging new and higher level of consciousness.

This list above is basically what I will be speaking about today at Phusikoi, that and the practice that gave me this awareness.

Life is an Enchantment when it is experienced from a certain level of reality. Although I will not have time today to talk about the actual levels, the certain level I am talking about is a developmental level I call the Chiron Turquoise Enchantment—which is a higher level of awareness than that which emphasizes the objectivity of our five senses and our rational mind.
The emphasis changes, the priority in understanding any system is to see the whole then the parts.
What systems am I talking about?
Here is a holarchy of systems that make up your life experience.

Body tissue
Your organs such as the heart
Your endocrine system
Your whole body

So we can see that the first three are all parts of the body, but the best healing of the body has to be holistic, seeing the body as a whole system.
This is a holarchy because each part is complete unto itself it is a whole, but also it a part of a bigger whole. Reality is made of holons. Holons are whole unto themselves and yet parts of something bigger.

Each of these is a chaotic system, they might appear random but the new open scientific perspectives understand that each scale of reality has an inherent self organizing intelligence.
As our awareness grows we start to recognize that the totality of each scale of our relationship has a unified quality or flavour, it is a whole with its own inherent intelligence. We recognize a resonance between our friends or our nation which differs somewhat from other people.

We also recognize a similarity between all humans; we all look pretty much the same as compared to the little green men from Mars or the Greys from Zeta Reticulum for that matter.

The next jump in understanding is to realize that the Earth is not merely its physical globe, but comprises its whole energy field, which incorporates the electro magnetic fields as well as other subtle levels.
The Earths consciousness is a field of energy or the Earths field of energy is a direct reflection of its consciousness.
The human species is a unified consciousness and field of energy that exists within the Earths consciousness, which means to a certain extent we are a product from within our planets consciousness.

The awareness of this level of reality—Life’s Enchanting nature—therefore recognizes the symbiosis and unity of subjective and objective reality, but emphasizes the priority of the subjective—consciousness. That does not mean that the parts can not have huge impacts on the whole, highly motivated individuals can instigate revolutions for good or bad in our society. Systems work on feedback.

The implications of this are enormous and suggest a totally new science that is more akin to metaphysics than science as we understand it today. The irony is that the new age movement is fairly cognizant of totality consciousness, energy fields, resonance and such like— albeit in a rather unrefined manner at present. The challenge of a globally interconnected world is to understand its totality, which eventually requires an integration of technology and all human endeavour’s with ecology in our understanding.

Totality awareness on any scale of existence is accessed through that levels energy field, which is not so much about quantum physics more about the relationship of parts and the whole quality—the whole energy reflects its total consciousness.

If we approach systems from parts only perspective we can understand the mechanics of the system but that does not tell us, or more importantly give us a direct experience of that system.

What I discovered is that through a sustained daily practice of playing, manipulating and being open to spontaneity as directed by ones energy or chi you can access the scale of consciousness, the energy field that is resonant with the Earth as a totality.

Speaking tomorrow at Phusikoi part two of Phusikoi blog

Looking at the Phusikoi membership it strikes me that it is a cool, hip, creative and connected group of people so just joining in the community atmosphere which is promoting conscious living will be enjoyable.

The aspect that really turns me on though is the actual agenda to actively explore the nature of consciousness and reality.

It is to this end that my life has been passionately dedicated to. I propose the answer to this question is that reality is multi-leveled and therefore truth depends upon what level of perception it is viewed from.

Innovation occurs at the intersection of paradigms. The intersection is the point where differing worldview or mindsets attempt to integrate, the same could be said for different cultures, skills or life experiences. A fusion of two or more specialties or modes creates a new and exciting reality.

Speaking tomorrow at Phusikoi I realize that 20 minutes is not long enough to put across a real introduction to my thesis. I call my thesis; alternatively ‘Life is an Enchantment’ or ‘The Enchantments of Life’.

The Enchantments of life is an integration of different paradigms that are not necessarily comfortable with each other. The Enchantments map stands at the intersection of Developmental psychology and Astrology. Developmental Psychology that I follow states that humans evolve, unfold and grow through recognizable stages that are essentially common to all people, furthermore these stages mirror the story of human evolution. The Developmental psychologist that has most influenced me is Dr Clare Graves who worked closely with one of the most famous developmentalists, Abraham Maslow, whose Hierarchy of needs is probably the most accessible developmental model. Here it is...

1 Self Actualization Needs ( full potential)...(in Maslows system this is the top point but Dr Graves genius is in showing that the human system is an open ever unfolding or emergent system.



2 Esteem Needs
(self respect, personal worth, autonomy)


3 Love and Belongingness Needs
(love, friendship, comradeship)


4 Safety Needs
(security; protection from harm)


5 Physiological Needs
(food, sleep, stimulation, activity)

Dr Graves work has been popularized by two of his students whom have developed two different expressions of his original study and both of whom call their work Spiral Dynamics. Further influence for me has been the vast collected works of Integral Philosopher Ken Wilber who on one hand rubbishes Astrology—as is fairly common with academia and in his case alternative academia— and on the other hand works from the same fundamental as me, which is that consciousness is the ground of being. Ken Wilber also uses developmental models including Spiral Dynamics.

Astrology as a paradigm, in general is mostly allied with Jungian Psychology or perhaps Neo Jungian. The Jungian perspective which although it is incredibly deep and enriching is an expression of only one—albeit advanced—developmental stage.

The outstanding contribution of developmental studies is the fact that truth varies depending upon each level, many popular beliefs and mindsets are true to some extent, they have their own validity unto themselves however that does not mean all perceptions and truths are equal. It is not that truth is merely relative, but that as we evolve our truth expands. Our reality gets larger and potentially more encompassing of all that exists within the human psyche.

How did I get into all of this exploration of reality and consciousness?

Although the insatiable need to explore reality has been with me since childhood through adolescence with psychic various phenomenon and telepathy, it really started in earnest as my full time vocation and career 18 years ago. In the early 1990s days it was Astrology and Shamanism that occupied my time. The Shamanism naturally developed into a daily practice of 2 hours or more that utilized sound and chi gong style movement. The nineties led me on a journey into discovering and exploring the energy field through these practices.
It is this journey that I will talk about tomorrow, for it is this experiential and empirical study that has led me to define reality as an enchanting and magical construct. This position does not negate the impulse to integrate science and consciousness. However until there is a shift from—seeing matter as the ground of being—to recognizing consciousness is the fundamental of life, systemic integral science will only produce very limited results.
The Enchantments of life is an innovating world view because it stands at the intersection of not only Astrology and Developmental psychology/sociology but also meets the metaphysical experience of energy—bringing together new systemic understandings of cutting edge systemic sociology, a revolution in astrology with age old wisdom concerning the nature of the human energy field. The sustained experience of my practices has revealed to me that the energy we can all feel between our hands, most commonly referred to as Chi is the bridge or doorway between consciousness and matter. The relative simplicity of this truth empowers the individual to explore reality and consciousness directly and viscerally for themselves.

Phusikoi is a rare project, emanating from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. It is an initiative to explore consciousness, with an emphasis on new media, science and technology, but with an open mind to spirituality and differing perceptions of consciousness. The main mover behind this project seems to be Gino Yu, who is active on the web.

The name Phusikoi is derived from the Greek expression that arose during the period known as the Axial Age. The Axial Age, around 500–600BCE, saw the dawning of the linear mind and definitive moral codes, through a spontaneous worldwide phenomenon of great visionaries such as Buddha, Confucius and Plato.

If you have been imbibed in the intoxicating need to know the truth of existence, as the original Phusikoi were, I would ask you to come on a metaphysical journey with me now. I would like to relate the great adventure of consciousness. Truth is not flat nor static; the inquirer of truth must enjoy the cascading fall into the kaleidoscopic well of all human perceptions. Let us start with the era of the Phusikoi and the Axial Age.

At that period, the crystallization of linear time, recorded history, social codes and suchlike was a precursor to stabilizing civilization and created a foundation from which latter-day science emerged. I discuss this in greater detail in my Enchantments of Life workshops, but for now we can simplistically summarize this process as the necessary separation of consciousness from matter that occurred after the shamanic eras and the symbolic-magical-mysticism of cultures such as Ancient Egypt.

Essentially, the Axial Age was a landmark in the evolution of human consciousness. It was a time that marked a greater division between objective and subjective reality, between spirit and matter.

The Axial Age was a necessary level of human development that ultimately veiled the extraordinary ancient archaic mysteries, yet at the time made humanity more conscious of those mysteries. So we can see that there was both a melancholic yearning to return back to Arcadia, while at the same time there was an acceleration in the awakening of self-consciousness as humanity unfolded from one developmental stage to another.

The Phusikoi stood at the doorway to an increasingly objective mind and reality. Paradoxically, I see today as a portal period towards a greater fusion of subjective–objective reality. The consciousness impulse of our era is not about a return to Arcadia exactly, rather more of a revision and an expansion of the original mythic and magical eras that will incorporate the material progress of the last 300 years. So I feel the name Phusikoi is an inspiring label for our time and I suggest this doorway leads away from the 20th-century reliance on science to a newly awakening consciousness that I call the Enchantment.

My position regarding consciousness is that the ultimate truth is ineffable, because it is beyond the mind—it is pure consciousness, consciousness being the ground of existence. Our consciousness reflects upon itself to create the linear mind, hence we get self-reflection. The ability to reflect upon something is in marked contrast to the borderless realm of pure consciousness and it is this ability that spawned linear time. The evolution of consciousness is the movement from the dreamtime—an undefined but cosmically connected dream state—to an awakened structured state that is cosmically disconnected; and then further on towards the awakened creative Kosmic dreamer.

The linear mind, which gives us science, is the tool that refines consciousness. However, mainstream science has been entranced by the mind’s reflection and believes the mind itself to be consciousness. The value and the problem of the modern mind is its ability to rationalize, to reduce, to analyse and to take life apart and see it as its bits and pieces. But the rational mind—to “ration” is to make small—in itself cannot put Humpty together again.

The very newest sciences are pointing in the right direction—specifically systems science, which, although it is often appropriated by materialist agendas, in essence recognizes that the total of a system is more than the sum of the parts and that the greatest energy in a system is produced by the relationship of the parts to each other.

If I use the human species as an example, we can recognize that it is a complex system comprised of 6.6 billion cells, which in itself contains varying scales of membership.

Each scale of membership is a subsystem in the total human species system. Each scale is an incremental stage in the evolution of human consciousness and culture.

We have clan, tribe, warrior-marauder armies, city states, theocratic states and nation states, then we open up to the multinational corporate world. What we are seeing is that each scale is an open system that is developmental, each with an increasing membership of people. Each subsystem, or holon, of our species is a level of society, a level of relationship, with its own level of truth.

These emergent levels correspond with the Enchantments of Life and have unfolded through history, yet also they coexist in the world today and mirror every individual’s growth and development. In other words, this story of human evolution is mirrored by each individual’s development in each lifetime.

Green Neptune Enchantment
Beyond the membership of the current dominant system of the multinational corporate world—which corresponds with mainstream media, economics and science (Orange Uranus Enchantment)—we expand to a potentially greater membership and a larger subsystem, that of idealism of the humanitarian mindset, with its emphasis on egalitarianism, equality, interfaith religion and new spirituality. The higher truth of this particular scale of development is one of emotional intelligence; “Putting people first”. This alternative mindset, although not yet in power, is gaining ground and energy.

The next level of development, still in its infancy, is yet more inclusive, as it recognizes all humans—that is all human behaviour and the paradox of our being—as part of itself. The human species will thus come to be “collectively conscious”, presently facilitated by the globally interconnected, new Internet-media-driven system.

This is the edge of “cool culture” that is comfortable with both science and consciousness.

Turquoise Chiron Enchantment
Development does not stop there. The Enchantment perspective resonates with the next level of open system, which sees the planet Earth as a living totality. This means not just Gaia and the natural ecological system, but also its offshoot, the human artefacts of society, technology and the dramatic story of human history. This totality is a congruence of all that is within Earth. Not on Earth, but within Earth. The Earth’s total consciousness is reflected in its energy field. The physical body of Earth generates fields of electromagnetic energy through its relationship with the greater solar system and the cosmic plasmic ocean.

Reversing the perception of the object creating energy around it from within linear time and space, we see that the higher dimensional consciousness of the planet contains humanity within it as a product of itself. The implications for our role as a species are of course immense once we become conscious of this co-creative reality.

History: It ain’t what it used to be

Let us shake off some of the dust around the subject of the past and look at how exciting the issue of history really is.

History, the past, is the hottest of potatoes.

Our history and our understanding of the past is directly related to our intimate life, our social life and our sense of being in the present. Our history—that’s your history, which includes your understanding of the Earth’s past and humanity’s past, whether you have done much study or not—is a living presence in your life now, shaping your moods, your choices and your interactions. You hold a personal history as well as your own version of the collective history in your subconscious and unconscious.

History is emotional. In fact, our emotions are our history.

There is a direct relationship between your emotional issues and the emotional issues of society. Far more than it is run on technology, logic or practicality, the world is run to a greater extent on emotion, which, with deeper understanding, we can realize is the substrate of the past; the living mythology or mythologies that permeate everything in our lives.

I have been actively exploring the ancient past for decades, not just with masses of reading but through psychic means, past life journeys, shamanic journeys and spontaneous ‘not-of-this-life’ memories.

What I have experienced can be summarized as, “History is a substance”. The past is a substance because time is a substance.

We are not used to thinking about the past as a substance. Einstein recognized time and space as one 4-dimensional substance that was curved. Physicists today are comfortable with thinking about time–space qualities, but generally not so comfortable with the implications of those qualities—the subtext being that somehow time and matter are different and separate from history.

The past is time that flows behind us and time is a ‘thing’. It is not solid like a 3-dimensional brick; time is a 4-dimensional thing and 4-dimensional things appear fluid in the material sense.

History is changing. Change history and you change the potentials of the future. Change your potentials and you change your life experience right now.
