During my energy practice this morning in the hills I was looking out to Hong Kong Island as the sun broke through a black cloud to dance on the rippling sea, I was reminded of the love of life.
We love to fall in love. We are constantly falling in love with something, not just those people that come out of the void to take our breath away; we fall in love each year with the change of the seasons. Falling in love can also include a new car, a new home, new clothes, music, or the idea of traveling to a new land, discovering a new revelation about the world or loving the ineffable mystery of life in its totality.
We are here to fall in love and keep falling in love, it is divine. We are meant to fall in love with life all over again, every day if possible, we rediscover the hearts capacity to open to and have more love with more of life. Creation is novelty.
The continuous process, of falling in love with life, takes us ever closer to being deeper in love, to the essence of love, to be loved and be love.
The nature of what we fall in love with changes as we evolve. The enchantments of life can be seen as the map that reveals the way in which we are finding the love of life through different stages of consciousness.
Love is the quintessential quality of consciousness.
