The Garden of Eden

The book I have started writing is about the enchanting nature of reality and the different Enchantments of human unfoldment. The enchanting nature of life is the view from the Brow Chakra.
The journey of writing has been intense, with moments of frustration and blockage where a vision is gestating and I am forced to let go. I am also feeling an increasing sense of connection to other realms and guidance as I have committed to writing the book. A new portal in my psyche is definitely opening up as I reach out to greater intelligences to understand with more clarity the story of creation upon Earth.

I have been posting prompters and questions on Facebook as part of the writing process as I formulate the book. Getting feedback from people has been invaluable and helps keeps my mind open. The big issue from the comments and my own perceptions is understanding the role of the mind and the heart, the limits of rationality and the recognition that we have lost something. Something we had in the Garden of Eden.

Kicked Out of Eden
Before evolution, involution occurs. Involution is the Fall; the descension of our consciousness into form, time and space. Involution starts at a point beyond time and space, in an innocent state without self-consciousness, and involves the development of progressively denser bodies for the involuting consciousness to inhabit.

Evolution occurs on Earth and ‘in time’. At some point after the formation of the basic biosphere—with its plants and animals—a human body emerges. The involutionary process runs parallel to ‘evolution in time’, yet involution is beyond time and space.



We still yearn to go back to the Garden of Eden, the original dream-like innocence.
We do lose innocence as we evolve, but we can return to innocence with more consciousness during the evolutionary adventure. In between each lifetime—and during each sleep time and in every moment—we experience varying degrees of the return to the blissful innocence of the soul’s resting place, beyond the mind, heart and abstract mind.



At some point during the Nirvana state, there is an impulse from within the soul to project itself once again into the whole drama. Involution then reoccurs; evolution in time/space is re-engaged with. This in turn is then followed by the return to Nirvana, after death, during sleep and during those times when we are totally present in each infinitesimal moment.

Before each life, before conception, we recapitulate aspects of involution and this continues during gestation in our mother’s womb. Concurrently, the foetus in the womb recapitulates the evolutionary process as it changes form from egg to fish, to reptile, to mammalian prototypes, before becoming a recognizable human embryo. The fetus is predominately female first before the male traits and sexual organs of the male emerge. However the male sperm determines the matrix of gender. What comes first male or female? The answer to this question changes all the way back to source depending upon which level you stop to view it from.



Human Gestation and Involution of the Soul

During this period, our involuting soul is connected by a psychic chord to, and absorbing the experiences of, the physical embryo. The physical embryo in the amniotic fluid is resonant with the involuting soul in the psychic plasma.

The psychic fallout from the Fall continues to ripple into our being as we grow and develop through childhood and then onto adulthood.



Reality Is Timeless and Cyclical, yet Evolving in Time

The Mythic Realm is a state of timeless truth and is recursive; a fractal experience. So if we take the myth of the Garden of Eden and the accompanying fall from innocence, we re-experience it at various stages of evolution as we lose more innocence and become more self-conscious. The re-experience and reinvention of the Fall in different historical contexts will be explored later, when I introduce the expanded Enchantments of Life map. However although the myth changes to suit the epoch of evolution and history, the essential myth is timeless and can be approached directly by anyone in an intuitive manner. On one level the exit out of Eden is the loss of our animal instinct—as we became more self conscious due to evolution—and therefore separate from the wild natural environment., but it is more than that, it is rooted in the Souls journey into the body from its state of pre-manifest blissful innocence.

In general terms within our subtle physiology, the Fall is the fall down through the chakras.




The Brow Chakra is the point where the twin serpents of the Kundalini life force meet each other and fuse. We can see that the snake in the Garden of Eden is the awakener of the life force, just as we awaken to duality in the Brow Chakra. The Brow Chakra opens up to a celestial realm of the deities, the origin and true home of myth as the poetic substratum of existence.

The Fall involves a separation of Spirit (Adam) and Soul (Eve) to create the first androgynous beings, whose souls have a female or male emphasis, while their spirits have a contrary male or female emphasis. At this stage of human involution, these beings can reproduce from themselves asexually.

The Adam and Eve story is then recapitulated further into density with actual gender crystallization and the accompanying awakening of the serpent, as man and woman are embodied as separate polarities that can only reproduce by coming together.



Lilith is Adams first wife, she is the feminine principle that will not conform to the male structure. The Lilith archetype and her rebellion is relevant to our intimate relationships and the culture of patriarchy through history. However at root Lilith is a Daemon, a trickster spirit goddess, often associated with the serpent as seen in the picture... who expresses the whole realm of the astral spirits who do not exhibit rational or religious principles but are the wild celebratory and creative force within the Earths soul.

In the fantasy film The Golden Compass (Picture below), everyone has a daemon, a guardian spirit/totem animal, I suggest this fantasy is not far from the truth.




Reversing the Fall

The varying and evolving tantric paths focus upon the fusion of male and female to lesser or greater degrees. This can be by transcending sex and concentrating on the inner fusion of spirit and soul (the yoking of the Yogic tradition), or through making love with another to reach a higher level of unity consciousness, where lust is transmuted into higher bliss as the Kundalini snake rises beyond the solar plexus.

The Fall into Earth’s Imagination

To emphasize: involution and evolution are recursive. We fall into matter, experience growth and then return to Source each day. During sleep we withdraw from the world of time and space, voyaging through the dream state to the more-subtle realms of the dreamless state. When we awaken, we have descended back into the body, passing down through the astral dream states on our way. In fact, we undergo this circuitous journey (the Bardo) in every infinitesimal moment. At a speed beyond any moment the mind can grasp, the whole of material existence flickers on and off.

After the first split of Spirit and Soul, Spirit stays beyond and outside of all worldly existence. Soul gives birth to the angels, which in time leads to the whole parallel world of the Devic kingdom—the fallen angels who seduce us into matter, the inorganic beings, the ultraterrestrials, the trickster spirits, the Djinni, the elves, the trolls, the pixies, the faeries, the Muses and the whole population of astral beings that shadow the human kingdom. Before religion was or is established in any community, humanity is in continuous interaction with this Devic kingdom. I have had many types of contact with this kingdom myself, throughout my life.



Reality Under Construction

For evolution to advance, this contact had to be diminished, so as to limit the wild, unstable effects of Majik. Civilization as we know it could not have emerged without limiting our relationship with the Devic world. So it is that religion deems it ‘bad’, even ‘evil’. To be fair to religion, the entities of the Devic kingdom in the astral realm can be evil, if utilized by the black sorcerers. To get round this possibility, religion and its morality has blanket demonized Pan and all his cohorts, in effect creating a perceptual barrier. We should mention here that the process of first interacting with, and then shutting down to, the Devic kingdom, is recapitulated in early childhood—all young children play with the faeries. At around seven years of age as the concrete mind—the social conditioning that determines what is acceptable to our culture— prevails, then the sprites and fauns, and the modern day comic book entities disappear from the walled garden of the psyche.

The building of the wall is applicable to childhood, to civilization and also to evolution, for the wall is the wall of those first cities; the wall in the collective psyche that creates a cultural amnesia; and also the wall of our personal boundaries, the construction of which begins in childhood. The symbiotic relationship of personal, collective and evolutionary stories makes sense when we realize that reality—including time—is essentially holographic and recursive. All that has been recapitulates in each moment, though the mind is confounded by this outrageous suggestion, the soul experiences this enfolding and unfolding moment.

Veiling the Earth’s Psyche

Part of the Fall involved becoming unconsciouss of the Serpent Force and the astral world that we fell through to get into density. The two fold process of separating from the Devic Kingdom is through religion and science, morality and rationality both necessary and good stages of development.

The moral foundation—guilt encoded into the body as a constant low-level adrenal inhibitor—creates a platform for the later emergence of the rational mind. The rational mind then fully divides the physical and astral worlds into objective and subjective, real and imaginary, where all Devic manifestations are labelled as merely psychological projections.

However, the tricksters have not gone away—if you look, they are everywhere, creating phenomena that defy easy explanation. Part of the evolution of consciousness in the future (and the awakened return to the Garden of Eden) will involve re-engaging with the Devic kingdom, but now with a greater understanding of its role in creating the world.

In this quick overview, a lot of details are glossed over by necessity, but will be explained more fully in the book. I will be elaborating upon Majik and the differences between self-generated and received experiences in our imagination and dreams. I will also look at the historical connotations of myth and its relevance to our lives today.

Life Changing Vortex

I have been immersed in writing; the Muses have descended upon me, jumping on my back, whispering and shouting in my ears, while trickster spirits are invading my many hypnagogic moments. The astral spirits, the inorganic beings, have not visited me for ages, but as soon as I started re-tuning into the Castaneda realms, the lucid dreams with weird and wonderful beings have started again.

My focus has been to boil down the data stream and data bank of my research into the essential message for my new website launch later this year. What has happened is that 'the book' has suddenly emerged. I am not wanting to do much else but write and visualize my book and play with the Muses. They will not go away anyway, so if you cannot beat them, join them. I have decided to share some of my process with you and will be posting excerpts on this blog.

I am beginning a rite of passage, with big changes of my energy, as Chiron went into Pisces. Overwhelm, disconnection, existentialism, detachment, disdain and extremes of deep connection where it all suddenly falls into place. The energy body is really sensitive, without me being in a pure space. I am riding the shamanic wave again, which is so out of tune with Hong Kong. I mean, I really love it here on Lamma, but Hong Kong is so, well, just not soulful. I feel more global than ever, yet totally Lamma in a private family, go sit in the hills overlooking the islands kind of way. I could say I feel like a part of me is a fine mist emanating over the world, invisible and insignificant, yet somehow relevant to ... well, something. Looks pretentious on screen as I read it, but its pretty evocative of my experiences of late. Overall I am feeling a new sense of connection. Jeez, what a trip.

The Wonder of It All: Life Is Awesome

The World Truly Is a Theatre
We all live enchanted lives, meaning that we exist in a hypnotic state, entranced by our information flow, which includes our cultural and working environments, home, relationships and entertainment, anchored by our dietary habits and the physical exercise we take.

Living in this hypnotic state is not an error, it is not wrong, nor is it something to be angry about or ashamed of. It just is one of the essential truths of consciousness, of life—and it is true throughout any of the Enchantment levels. Life as we experience it is an unconsciously agreed-upon theatre.

The present-day dominant consensual agreement about the nature of reality—the Orange Uranus Enchantment—is maintained and reinforced through the television-newspaper media and the economic political system, a fact which a lot of people understand. The confidence and consistency of the essential underlying mythology of ‘scientism’, which is built upon neo-Darwinism, hypnotizes the world.

The psychology of this frequency of perception is based on the axiom that there are many different ways to do things. This is an enormous leap forward from the earlier moralist stage (Blue Saturn Enchantment), which is encoded with the thought form that there is only one way to do things (the ‘right’ way, as opposed to the ‘wrong’ way).

While the perception of the Orange Uranus Enchantment is that there are many different ways to do things, there is only one single ‘best’ method. There is one ‘winning way’; therefore there are winners and losers, winning paths and paths for losers. This is the ‘survival of the fittest’ mentality. Anything outside the winning way is an inferior way, an inferior perception, truth or belief, and is therefore not to be taken seriously.

The relative benevolence of the Orange Uranus market-forces mentality, though, does allow for other methods and other types of people. It allows religion to exist and it allows for the New Age to be. However, the axiom unfolds further as it is assumed to be essential that reality be defended for the sake of all people, which means not allowing ‘inferior’ perceptions or mythologies to be given the same respect or kudos as the central mythology, the proven ‘winner’ of materialism-scientism that is a prerequisite of the capitalist system. In the Uranus Enchantment, alternative views of reality are ridiculed and suppressed in the interests of the system; they are framed as jokes, often with some condescending compassion for the ‘poor losers’ who believe in them. The strategy is to subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) undermine alternative perceptions.

All of this constructed reality is but one step on the path of evolution. It is a partial truth, an expansion of truth compared with the fundamentalism of the absolute moralist.




Walls of Thought
What amazes and often awes me is the solidity of the hypnotic trance within the mainframe of our society. This solidity filters out deep enquiry on subjects that have an impressive reservoir of human testimony.

The information flow through the consensual machine churns ever-faster in order to maintain the dominant reality, yet holes are appearing in the walls along the borders. Outsides the walls, to those who are looking for the new world, the landscape appears radically different and far more spacious.

Two of the subjects I have continued to study over many years are UFOlogy and Big Foot. I can say with confidence that both of these phenomena are real phenomena, ie throughout recent history, and even way back in time, people have experienced, seen and interacted with these other beings. The question as to the absolute nature of Big Foot and the aliens that are essentially humanoid variants is another matter. The point here is that it is astonishing how easy it has been for the dominant power structure of the Orange Uranus perception to keep these subjects from serious investigation, sidelining them as ridiculous for so long in an increasingly connected world. This trivialization can’t last much longer.

Why are these subjects important? The current economic-political system is built upon an essential philosophic framework, a religion of sorts—neo-Darwinism. Throwing aliens and Big Foot into the pot changes the entire archaeological terrain. The artefacts of archaeology used to weave the accepted story of evolution are surprisingly sparse; nature tends to devour bones over time, thus the scientific evidence for a gradual transformation of one species into another is all but nonexistent. Evolution is not yet properly understood, so if we are to further our understanding we need to keep the research open.

The more I examine the ET and Big Foot testimony, the more I am amazed by the way these subjects are labelled mere fantasy.



Each Enchantment is a landscape that is filled with human activity and attention; it is an environment of the psyche. The expansion of consciousness on Earth right now means that the environment of the planetary psyche and its walls are straining from the pressure of a growing consciousness. This consciousness is seeking to tear down the ‘Berlin Wall’ of outdated beliefs. The current social system that is the product of the way the world is enchanted now (by the symbiosis of scientism and economics) is inadequate for our near future—inadequate because it cannot support the growing population, nor can it sustain our environment.

In complete contrast to the mainstream position, from an Enchantments perspective, the population explosion on Earth—while not without challenges—is a good thing. A bigger population leads to more social complexity; a larger landscape; a new, more expansive enchanted world; a larger, more abundant reality; and an expanded planetary consciousness.



Likewise, the environment, from the Enchantments perspective, is not merely physical, but is an environment of consciousness and energy, with what we normally think of as the environment, ie the physical world, being but part of the whole.

Without a change in consciousness, the environment is in danger and the world is overpopulated, as the present landscape of the collective psyche is too small.

The New Frontier
The Industrial Revolution and Age of Enlightenment led to an enormously expanded terrain for human life. However, the abundance thinking of yesterday is today’s poverty mentality.

It was the radicals who led the way in the past; it is the radicals who do so now. A little bit of punk attitude and the spirit of adventure is required. Life is always abundant—we just need to turn our gaze outwards, away from the hypnotist of materialism. So it is that once again we are preparing for the surge into an exponentially capacious reality—a reality of energy and consciousness.

Pioneering individuals, pockets of renegades, have broken through the walls and are forging pathways through the thicket, catching glimpses of a new landscape. Even though supply lines are limited, there is growing anticipation and wonder at just how magnificent and how voluminous, how immense, the new world will look. The pathways of alternative enquiry include the recapitulation of old ideas—refreshing, reinvigorating, but ultimately re-expressing the past. Such enquiry includes the nature of Earth energy, the Earth grid and the human aura, ancient civilizations and forgotten knowledge.



The prospectors of the new world come back with tales of open source economies, morphogenic fields, the human Noosphere, superluminal travel—faster than light speed, ie interstellar travel, as suggested by UFOs—and free energy from the quantum field. These prospectors bring us hope of a world so extraordinary and so filled with greater abundance and benevolence. Dare we believe?

The new landscape will most likely have at its foundation a sense of everydayness, its own normality; however, idealism is the impetus for change. It is imagination and its accompanying intensity of feeling that is the creative energy preceding the manifestation of experiential reality. We will not find certainty in this future world, but in the same breath, yesterday’s ‘certainties’ no longer serve us.

The world is enchanted and is in the process of re-enchantment. What theatre are we as a species to create next? It is time to construct a better dreamscape.

I am not so much complaining about suppression of facts—nor disinformation, nor psychological blindness, nor the narrowness of the intellectual dialectic—rather it is that I want to express the profound sense of awe I feel about how life is constructed in plain sight, right in front of us and through us and with our attention.

The enchanting nature of reality, its very construct, may be uncomfortable for the mind, but it is ultimately liberating for the consciousness. Dare we dream and leave the confines of the compound?

What Is?

What is Spirituality?

Spirituality is that which follows the pure spiritual experience.

What is the pure spiritual experience?

It is the immersive sense of the presence behind all life.

The sense, the all-consuming feeling, is complete—-it brings recognition of how much one reveres life and loves life. It comes with awe, as it dissolves the barrier of mind.

The experience is not a path, a ritual, a moral framework for living in society. These are individual choices derived from collective choices that we assign to life after the fact.

The presence, which I call God, is impersonal and empty, yet personable—-for we are in the presence, during the present. We are not separate from the presence during the experience. The presence is alive.

The Ever-Present Cosmic Immanence

Linear time runs from the past to the future, while the fractal time of the Sacred Mayan calendar runs from the centre of existence into time as we know it. The Sacred calendar, also known as the tzolkin, is an expression of the descending, involuting and immanent quality of time.

The time/space field—which is the four-dimensional substance, the combination of time and space as we know it—is a continuum that runs on a curvature. It has a cyclical quality that spirals from past to future, expanding out and curling around the central creation point of our galaxy. In time/space the future is resonant with the past.

The Sacred Mayan calendar integrates the archaic with the futuristic, the shamanic with the technological, expressing the essence of the gestational realm. The pulsing waves of each day arise from the centre of the toroidal universe, like ripples on a pond that spread out towards the shore of our time/space reality.

By following the 260-day pulse, we feel the subtle presence of a more refined order of existence and we move into resonance with Earth’s relationship with the galaxy, and subsequently with our planet’s self-awakening as a timeship—a being of light that carries its history, all human artefact and all fields of consciousness within itself.

In riding the waves of the 260-day rhythm, we become conduits for the galactic civilization of Earth’s future, where our social membership will extend beyond the Internet, beyond the Earth, to start the next adventure of evolution into extraterrestrial human societies. By surfing the galactic plasma, we connect to the essence of nature as well as the totality of human endeavour in the potent awesome present, inviting our Immortal Self to join us here on Earth in the life we lead today.

My experiential research suggests that the consciousness I talk of here is the human level of existence I call Turquoise Chiron Enchantment, which is resonant with, and yet a higher level of complexity than, the shamanic dreamtime of the ancients. The 2012 era is pulling human society towards this level of awareness. However, 2012 is not the point of full manifestation of a society led by this existential awe-filled connectedness, but rather the activation of this level of consciousness, made increasingly accessible through individuals who have adequately experienced the previous Enchantments. The ever-increasing population of those centred in the Turquoise Chiron Enchantment will lead humanity to the future manifestation of Earth’s galactic civilization.

The Enchantments of Life is an integral map that I am continuously refining. Thus far the model references the body of work and wisdom of Ken Wilber, Spiral Dynamics, Dr Clare Graves and other developmental psychologists, sociologists and cultural studies, as well as my own exploration of consciousness and astrological and mystical research.

Unlike standard integral thinking, my Enchantments of Life map utilizes the evidence of astrology, acknowledges extraterrestrial existence and keeps asking the questions concerning the mysteries of the ancient world, whilst responding to the developments in social relationship triggered by the growth of the Internet and technological advances.

The term ‘Enchantment’ specifically describes the developmental levels as viewed from Turquoise Chiron consciousness. It is my proposition that on this level of existence the environment is completely reframed as a conscious field of energy, thus moving beyond the context of our present environmental concerns. I suggest that the major Earth changes occurring now are a product of the permeation of cosmic plasma as an agency of the Earth’s self-awakening.

Likewise, the reoccurring anxiety about the ‘population explosion’ can be better understood as a good and natural by-product of the evolving, complex, living and conscious system of Planet Earth.

The challenge of our times is to increase awareness as the precursor to action and response.

Hello Friends, both old and new, and welcome to my new Facebook connections (many of you recently from the USA).

I am off the UK for a month and will be taking a break from the Internet (computer fasting) for about 5 weeks while I am visiting friends, family and seeing clients for astrologically based life change consultations.

A New Paradigm for Understanding Reality

The focus of my lifelong research is based on the evolution of human consciousness, which I present as the Enchantments of Life. Here is a 101 website that gives you an entry into the map.

In the Future, We Will Belong to an Extraterrestrial Humanoid Community

A deep understanding of the Enchantments—and integral maps in general—shows that at the heart of life, there is a hierarchy of scales of community membership in evolution on Earth, where the concept of individual superiority seems less and less appropriate.

The Enchantments is a fusion of astrology with developmental theory, often called integral theory, based on psychological and sociological levels that reflect the whole story of human evolution.

My take on evolution also encompasses advanced ancient civilizations, the extraterrestrial presence, the 2012 phenomena and psychotropic and shamanic experience. My map emphasizes that consciousness and the energy field perspective is primary to understanding reality.

For Those Who Know the Enchantments: Two More Enchantments

Later this year I will be presenting two new Enchantments in my map that I have been researching for quite some time, Ceres and Jupiter Enchantments. These two Enchantments fit in between Red Mars and Blue Saturn Enchantments. I will also be sharing more sophisticated explanations that elucidate why the Enchantments of Life is at the frontier of understanding the evolutionary impulse of the life force.

After several years investigating the data available, coupled with experience from my own and other people’s lives, I am confident when I claim that the integral system known as Spiral Dynamics has reduced four distinct levels to two (no criticism of Spiral Dynamics intended).

The two new levels effectively change the whole view, the whole story of life on Earth. The colour I have assigned to the Ceres Enchantment is Lime (innocence) and for Jupiter Enchantment it is Maroon (potentiality).

For Astrologers

The Enchantments of Life is a pioneering development of astrology which shows and reflects that the planets represent levels of reality, as well as radiant field archetypes, and that the cyclical nature of planetary orbits emphasized in the astrology chart do not occur on a flat plane in space—everything spirals and vortexes in time as well as space as the Sun moves through the galaxy and the galaxy moves through the cosmos.

For Integralists and Psychologists

The Enchantments of Life recognizes the superb work done by Ken Wilber, as well as many others developmentalists who have contrasting positions and perspectives to Ken. It also recognizes the value of psychology for its lucidity in explaining the mechanics of evolution.

However, the Enchantments map emphasizes that the substance of existence, the context for psychology, transgresses the divide between objective reality and subjective reality and therefore, as it turns out, dissolves the absolutes of a crystallized linearity to human evolution.

What I am proposing is that the evolutionary pictures and integral maps I have seen miss the involution of the soul, the consciousness that ‘descends’ into linear time–space. The implications of involution are extraordinary … stay tuned.

Enchantments of Life 101


The Picture? Just because I like it and it might warm up England....ha.. well, I can but hope.

Attention!... it is the age of

I am delighted to see that Wikipedia now has an entry for the "attention age" as the age following on from the information age. This is something I have been crowing on about for years, hooorah.....

The Industrial Age is linked to the marker of 1 billion people on Earth; the Information Age indicator is about 3 billion; the Attention Age is allied to about 6.5 billion people on planet Earth. Why is this tied to population? Because more people mean a more complex global system -- more abundant, more adaptive.


The consciousness/energy age, which is consciousness allied to energy, will be here as we approach a population of 10 billion, from as early as 2035, or maybe 2050.

The upshot of that is that the door between consciousness and our technological civilization will be well and truly open, which means a post-technological age emerges and the environment is reframed as a conscious energy field, rather than a physical system.

A post-technological society is on the horizon, as technology is subsumed or subservient to consciousness, via the medium of energy fields.



Looking at the Fibonacci system, you can see how it reflects the exponential spiral growth of complex systems. You eventually get to a network of bifurcations that look like a brain. The Internet of course is the forerunner for the consciousness web of Earth, as suggested by the Internet map below...

The emergence of global consciousness is allied to 2012, which measures cycles of the Earth's relationship with the Galaxy it lives in. 2012 marks the point when the planet rapidly starts to wake up to itself as a Timeship in the Galaxy. Humanity will be increasingly cognizant of this in the decades that follow 2012, thus reinforcing the Earth's self-awareness.

One billion is a fractal of 10 billion. The next age is a jump or change of civilization that is comparable to the shift humanity experienced in tandem with the emergence of the industrial and scientific age.

Changing the shape of things to come

I started writing a blog the other day and it has turned into 18 pages, ah well … here then is just a morsel.

We are due for another revolution that will rival the drama brought about by Copernicus.

Nicolaus Copernicus' realization that the Earth was moving through space may well have already been understood in ancient civilizations, who were perhaps of a different stream of evolution (for example, the Atlantean root race), or had been taught by extraterrestrial visitors.

However, the fact remains that Copernicus' 'metaphysical vision' was at the time seen as an anarchy, an irrational and idiotic suggestion to many, if not most, of the academics of his day. The truth is that science jumps ahead through intuitive vision as it leaves old assumptions behind.


What could rival the Heliocentric view. What could be next?

I feel it is the recognition that Earth is a timeship, not a spaceship, but a timeship. We are either moving through time, or time is moving through us. To be clear, I am not the first to suggest something along these lines.

A whole new horizon appears

If we recognize that our relationship with the substance of time is directly through our consciousness (for example, linear time is symbiotically entwined with linear mind) and is of a radically different order of existence compared to our relationship with space, we will have a whole new view of our placement in existence. In due course, we will have a whole new experience of reality.

Healing The Self

“Hey Crow Boy, where does healing fit into your fancy-pants evolutionary map?”

My position when talking about healing oneself is that it is primarily about forgiveness, which involves some release of old energy and some resolution of issues. It comes to a point in life, though, where one appreciates the wounds, the collateral damage of life, as that which has given us the quirks and twists in our psyche that fully colour our character.

Ram Dass

“It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed.”

Baba Ram Dass, aka Richard Alpert, went through a wide range of life trips, starting with the psychological paradigm, which he called a theatre, then on to becoming an acid-head explorer, then further on to the holiness of Indian mysticism. As he matured, he then became a more irreverent version of himself. As a role-playing guru later in life, he stated “There is nowhere to stand,” in other words, there is no absolute fixed position to take. In one enlightening and amusing recording, Ram Dass talked about how you don’t really get rid of anything; that the therapist trip is effective only up to a point.

To quote him as I remember it, he said “Nowadays, when sexual perversion comes to visit me, I say ‘Hello, old friend. Come and sit down and have a cup of tea.’”


The Mystic’s Journey in the Theatre of Life
There comes a stage in our healing journey where we are not so identified with our adversities and imperfections, not so ruled by them nor trying that hard to get rid of them. We become more accepting, as we open up to a larger view and a whole new level of Enchantment that exists in the flow of paradox flow.

Moving into the heart, we accept life for its majesty. Life is far bigger than us, beyond our control, forever ongoing. Life is an adventure of consciousness.

Enjoy Life and Be the Change in the World

The word ‘evolution’ can sound somewhat daunting, even exhausting. To some, it might reek of compulsive ‘progress’ and perfectionism. If you sign up for it – evolution, that is – you might think that sounds as if you are given no chance to slob out a little, nor to call upon the all-important slacker wisdom.

However, the evolution of consciousness totally requires that we stop and smell the roses – and also that we sometimes just ‘give in. If we over-identify with some overly masculine progression, there is a tendency towards getting inflated, rigid and fascist, in other words too serious…

Put Consciousness with Evolution … Aha!
The evolution of consciousness is about enjoying life, far more than it is about sacrifice. Enjoying life is not just about pleasure, or even about giving pleasure or comfort; it also involves the burgeoning enjoyment of the magnificence of life itself.

To continue enjoying our experience requires an ability to change the emphasis of our life as the long good road unfolds, to add to and refine the way in which we enjoy life.

The nature of self-interest is that as we become more conscious (ie more evolved), our self-centred desires, wishes and pleasures naturally become more benevolent and gift more aspects of creation – which is not the same as saying we just get more uniformly good and sweet in all areas.

Even Moments of Idiocy Are Allowed
The evolution of consciousness is neither smooth nor linear. It requires backward steps, losses and errors; they are all part of the journey, a fact that is easier to appreciate once you accept your own paradoxes and the paradoxes of creative existence.

The adventure of life itself can be called the evolution of consciousness. The evolution of consciousness is the expansion of awareness through all areas of a sphere. The expansion is an ebb and flow, a surge into one area and a temporary withdrawal from another. Yet, over time, we do indeed expand our awareness and interconnection as we open more doors to the greater universe. The best way to understand this is through the perspective of the aura.

The Flowing Energy of Your Psyche
See your body in the centre of the aura. The expansion of your consciousness takes place in two directions: outwards, through an outpouring of awareness from the body towards all areas of the energy sphere around you; and inwards, to your central channel. This inner journey moves you towards the infinite eternal mystery of the Source.

The outward expansion emphasizes the immanence of spirit in all things and our relationship to all things, as we talked about in a previous blog. The inward journey is the transcendence of those relationships and the connection to the universal deities and the Source of Life. These two directions of our subtle energy go hand in hand.

The evolution of consciousness is an unfoldment, an emergence, an adventure, an existential experience, a task requiring effort and persistence, a surrender and an innovative creative act of consciousness each step of the way.

I feel the appropriate opportunity is on the horizon and this will synch in with my main website launch a little later this year, where I will present the updated Enchantments of Life map.

The Development of Relational Intelligence is a Product of Evolution and a Reflection of the Nature of Evolution

In the last blog, I talked about something ungraspable by the linear rational mind – the nature of time. The rational mind is a tool in symbiotic relationship with linear time, which we know is a limited perspective. The rational, reductive grasp of the mind exists within time; however, time–space as a fourth dimensional substance is bigger than the rational mind, so cannot be grasped by it.

In contrast to the intelligence of the rational mind, the intelligence we utilize in relationships scans, feels and intuits, whether we are relating to a person, an animal, an idea, a logo or a webpage.

This wide-spectrum intelligence that connects to the heart operates on multiple time frames and potentialities of near future and past—it is not confined to linear time. In relational intelligence, you are scanning beyond the linear time frame.

Once we see a complete system comprised of dynamic and relating parts—such as human society—the whole of that system looks very different from the bottom-up view, while the parts also look different with the benefit of the top-down view.

Looking at you as an individual from the perspective of the species gives us a very different understanding of who you are than if we were simply to understand you through your own self-referencing.

All systems are composed of the interactions between the parts—in the case of the human system, this is relationships. You and I are in a kaleidoscope of cascading relationships—we relate immediately, obliquely, vertically and horizontally. We relate most immediately to our lover, friends, family and work colleagues, but also with our mindset, our culture and, to a lesser degree, to all of the rest of the human species.

The relationship of the individual to everybody else is becoming stronger. The Internet and global integrated media means that increasingly we are having some kind of displaced information exchange with all other humans. The ability of the individual to affect the collective is becoming more apparent, while the collective consciousness and global effects are now of more relevance to the individual. We are all transmitting our stories that much more quickly into the collective soup from which each moment emerges.

This is the trend—and this trend will only increase as it is the way in which complexity emerges. Evolution is the increase in complexity, which means that as we evolve, we not only become part of larger wholes, we are co-creating the wholes.




Our Planet is a Whole System Interconnected through Intricate Patterns
Evolution is the increase in complexity, which means our system not only grows in scale of community, it also grows in intricacy.

Communities of a lower order of complexity still exist within the developing global village—we coexist with small pockets of tribal societies, fiefdoms, slum mafias, insular religious orders and nationalist states. These smaller-scale communities all filter the full impact of the global marketplace, to a greater or lesser extent, yet all increase the overall complex intelligence of the world.

The evolutionary impulse creates greater degrees of integration within the being of Earth.


Integration is Emerging
'Integral' means integrating all that exists within human thinking. It is oxymoronic to disavow astrology, UFOology, Cryptozoology or anything else in an integral exploration of planetary consciousness … that’s just over-intellectualizing and trying too hard to be ‘legitimate’, according to present standards.

To be openly integral means exploring new realms and relating to the full diversity of human beliefs, experience and paradigms of investigation.

The innovation of our society towards a fuller expression of the human species system (Yellow Pluto Enchantment [Ed: see the Enchantments section in our portal website]) means recognizing all people play a role—not all equal, but all have something to offer simply because they are in the system; the system cannot function to full capacity without them. This is not the evolution of 'winners and losers', but evolution of appropriate role play in a creative system of society.

We need to restate this:

In a large, complex system all parts are relevant. No part exists out of the system, so it is by definition relevant. All parts may not be equal, but they are all relevant.

A fully trained scientific adult mind possesses more relevant information about the nature of the human species than does the mind of a preschool child. However, the child’s view is still a valid view from within the system—even though it may not be as valuable (in most cases) as the adult educated mind. But the child’s view is still an expression from within the system that has to be integrated, if we are to see the system as a whole.

A mixed group of novices and experts is more intelligent than a group consisting solely of experts, as outlined in the book, The Wisdom of Crowds by James Surowiecki.


What Does the Individual Look Like in All of This?
Your identity is formed through all that you relate to.

In the emerging global social environment, your ability to be cognitively elastic increases and you are becoming increasingly co-creative.

You are becoming more intelligent in your ability to relate to more aspects of all human life.

Relationships in the broadest sense and the agreements that come out of them are how we create reality; relationship is far more powerful than science as a determiner of creation.



Speaking as a man, this article is a good reminder to me of the importance of feminine ‘fuzzy logic’ as being equally valid to masculine so-called ‘objectivity’—but you knew that already didn’t you?

A Short Sunday Outing

Just thought I would share my sentiments of today with you.

Life is a trip. As we incarnate, a veil comes down and once again we take the journey of life with the necessary loss of memory. A good trip must be fully immersive.
Within each incarnation life offers us a large array of trips to involve our whole selves in, some are obligatory or I should the basic parameters of the lifescape are collectively pre-structured, so that we are involved in experiences that are resonant with others.

Fluency

We also create a script for our life before we get here, the astrology chart reveals it in 4 dimensional symbolic language, our job is about awakening within each situation to get the most out of it, ultimately it comes down to gifting others and in so doing we are infused into the world, colouring the world with our essential unique character and living as vessels that receive the gifts of others.

Ineffable


I have done the trip of the new age that is an excellent theatre, one of the best; I also did the philosophical trip of Ken Wilber, superb. Relationships, beliefs, careers, businesses, taking on any kind of social role, yoga, meditation, any ideology you care to mention are all just wonderful. Being anonymous and detached is one of those trips that become more available as you get older if you so choose, it offers refreshment to the soul. However the challenge is to remind ourselves that as one enchanting reality dissolves there are more available if you keep your heart and soul open. If you stay adrift from everyone you lose the light of life which only others can give you, unless you are completely surrendering to God without any attachment as to what God is.

The Long Good Road is all about immersing oneself, followed by a crisis period of releasing oneself from our identification and then starting all over again.

I have often woken up with the sense of awe of how theatrical reality’ is, the moment I try to hold onto that feeling it dissolves back into the ethers, but each time a louder echo of this illuminated emptiness stays with me for all time.

The best meditations I have done have been largely spontaneous, with my eyes open just sitting, normally early morning, mostly in nature but not always and they last about a minute….a long time. In those moments life passes unhindered through me and is flavoured very subtly by me.

Love

I feel the cliché about love is true, no matter what, love lasts forever. Love is the Kosmic glue.

Get Real....

Although all trips require respect, there are certain laws built in to them, we are here to enjoy it all with a sense of humour, just don’t laugh in the middle of someone else’s trip as they are coming up though, they get very upset. Especially if it is a popular selection, its just not done to try to remind people that they are taking it too serious and their trip is not permanent or universally true.

It Is Time

Multiple Timelines Converge into this Moment

Welcome to the Year of the Tiger.

The correlation between the lunar calendar and the weather is pretty accurate here in Hong Kong. The temperature dropped quite radically, as is often the case in the last few days leading up to the Chinese New Year new moon, and it rained as well, which is good luck in this tradition, as rain is money. I go with that.

I sold a painting on New Year’s Day—Cave Wall—which reflects my feeling of late of being in the flow of things. My paintings express my investigations into the nature of reality and evolution.

To evaluate the nature of human evolution on the deepest level, we need to explore our relationship with time.

As I often emphasize, the question of how we evolve depends on our picture of the past. The past is normally thought of as straight line running backwards on a flat plane. Einstein’s physics, though, tells us that time and space are one fabric and that fabric is not flat—it’s lumpy and it’s curved. Linear time is a limited perspective and is an assumption of present-day historians, archaeologists and evolutionary theorists. The lumps and curves of time–space mean we cannot see that far back—the horizon of the past is not an eternal flat landscape.

When writing my first book, The 21st Century Book of the Dead, I was researching the work of Nikola Tesla and had an altered-state connection to him, an interaction with the spirit of Tesla. I do not think it was his ghost who came to visit me as such; rather, I received a transmission from his soul.



The message I received from him was this:

“Time decays over time.”

This I understood instantly. The future is an increasing variable. We have a good idea of the potentials and outcomes of tomorrow (most of the time), but the further we look into the future the more unpredictable eventualities are. In this regard, the ancient past is similar to the future, especially if we go back thousands of years. The past becomes increasingly variable.

Is the past fixed? Can history be a variable? Does history not just look different, but is it different, depending upon our consciousness? How absolute is the reality of Atlantis, for example?

The cataclysm of around 10,000–12,000 BCE is a particularly potent and obvious point of historical decay and is the source of the veil to Atlantis. If the history of Atlantis is shrouded by heavy mists of perception, does it mean that Atlantis has more than one single definable timeline of events?


Memory Blocks Change the Past
Immanuel Velikovsky proposed something that really struck a chord with me—collective amnesia encoded into our DNA caused by the shock of a planetary disaster as little as 2,500 years ago; an emotional block, a veil to the past.

Time decaying over time suggests there are ‘reality splits’ in our past, caused by collective emotionally charged moments that affect time–space.

Real time is connected to mind and emotion; we all experience that phenomenon every day in a small way. Time is in fact constructed by mind and emotion; time is a product of mind.

My major meditation and contemplation on time over the last 10 years or more suggests a bifurcation of time that underpins parallel realities. In science fiction and even theoretical physics (Stephen Hawkings’ Multiverse, for example), this is a fairly prevalent consideration.

On an everyday level, nobody experiences linear time to the extent the clock does. Our emotional state slows and speeds our time experience. More dramatically, as we get older, time speeds up; our experience of time is poles apart from that of a child.

Emotions are interconnected with our biochemical state, but are not locked inside the physical body, nor locked to linear time. Emotions are centred in the emotional body, which transcends tick-tock time. When you have a fantasy, a dream, or feel really excited, your experience is nonlinear. This is something we all experience. The empirical evidence of emotional states is that they take place in a far more fluid state of matter than the mechanical universe.

The esoteric traditions—backed up by the personal testimonies of numerous people who have had out-of-body experiences—state quite clearly that the nature of time in the astral body is of a different order to that of the linear time of the clock.

To this we must add that the nature of space is also very different in the astral realms. Ghosts can walk through physical walls and through people because in the emotional and astral realms there are lateral dimensions to space.

The brain wave activity of young children is in the alpha, delta and theta regions. Their experience of time is almost ‘timeless’ compared to ours as they are not yet fully in their bodies. Young children have invisible friends, for example, because their experiences are still based in the astral realms. They are effectively transcending the linear time frame of the physical world.

As we grow through childhood, we move into greater density and experience more of the corresponding stability of tick-tock time. Early childhood is the dreamlike experience of more than one simultaneous reality, albeit parallel and interlocking realities, through a range of densities.


Refining Consciousness through Involvement with Density
Even if the meatpack has evolved in linear time to the extent that consciousness arises from it, out from the body, we still have to consider the issue of consciousness existing beyond linear time and then the way in which consciousness enters into the evolving physicality.

Evolution is the emergence and unfoldment that takes place in linear time. The ‘descension’ of consciousness into this realm from higher dimensions, beyond linear time and space, is what I term ‘involution’.

We live in a time on Earth when evolution is waking up to itself and preparing to experience an Omega Point, a convergence on this planet as evolution and involution meet, the awakening of immanence on Earth.

In 1994 I experienced an aspect of my soul from another star system and time frame converging into myself in this density. It was an exhilarating 20 minutes where I knew what was going on, but my mind was held in freeze frame. While I was in this alpha (or deeper) state, I was simultaneously—and very actively—sculpting an enormous and quite beautiful alien head out of a large bag of clay, representative of this other aspect of self.


Multidimensional Time–Space Travellers
Different universal time frames or planetary time–space experiences are compartmentalized by consciousness.



UFOs, for example, are able to jump time because they are not held back by our own planetary consciousness. Those involved in interstellar travel have a trans-planetary consciousness and are effectively time-travelling as much as they are travelling in space.


The Strata of Development
Geosphere→Biosphere (Gaia) →Noosphere/Technosphere (Human world) →Toroidal Energy Sphere (Timeship Earth)

On planet Earth we are approaching planetary membership—the global village, Internet linkup and the emergence of greater interconnection of government and marketplace.

Mystic Cyber Crow’s ongoing enquiry into the nature of evolution will involve connecting the new systemic understandings of science, such as James Lovelock’s Gaia hypothesis of the natural world as a complex singular system and Howard Bloom’s Global Brain, which outlines the evolution of mass mind arising up from the interconnected data transference within Earth’s bacterial system. More pertinently, we will also be looking at the concept of the Noosphere, attributable to eminent Russian scientist Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadsky and developed by French scientist, philosopher and Jesuit priest, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (conceiver of the Omega Point).*

Once we get to understand the Noosphere, the mental envelope of all human thought, we are in the area where developmental psychology, aspects of spirituality, the nature of time and our relationship with time all begin to interconnect with the so-called hard sciences.


Timeship Earth
The recognition of the Noosphere is one small step away from seeing the whole Earth as a four-dimensional being; a living energy field that encompasses all human activity, product and history, as well the natural world (the Gaian system).

The next fundamental shift of science, from the paradigm of materialism within time–space, is to an energy field paradigm beyond linear time. The shift involves seeing the whole before the parts; the application of whole systems, which then changes how we see all parts of the Earth system, be that the atom, the body, human society or the natural world. A full recognition of time–space as a whole, rather than seeing time and space as separate, will therefore redefine time and matter.

The Earth and the human species have not always existed in the same density of matter that we experience today. The Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime, for instance, talks of a different order of reality. The emergent planetary consciousness of the future is the return of the Dreamtime on another level of consciousness.

Time and space are fluid entities, as is matter, as is history. Time decays over time.
